As the Channel Islands equality and diversity charity, Liberate is committed to valuing diversity and seeks to provide its members, officers, employees and volunteers with the opportunity for employment, career and personal development on the basis of ability, qualifications and suitability for the work as well as your potential to be developed into the job/role.

All employees, whether part-time, full-time or temporary, paid or unpaid, will be treated fairly and with respect. Selection for employment will be on the basis of aptitude and ability.

Liberate wants to ensure that no applicant receives less favourable treatment than another on the grounds of any personal characteristic. In order to meet this commitment, all candidates are asked to voluntarily complete an equality and diversity monitoring form before joining Liberate.

All completed monitoring forms are treated as confidential. The monitoring form is separated from the application form on receipt and those involved in the selection process do not have access to it. The information given by candidates will be solely used for the purpose of monitoring the recruitment process.

We welcome applications for paid or unpaid positions from those who identify as part of a minority group in Jersey.
